Styling Your Two Strand Twists- Natural Hair

Nikki,

I see that you wear your twists out and about more now than you do out styles. Chime of HairCrush on YouTube recently uploaded a video where she styles her long and lovely twists in three different ways. My fave is the fishtail braid, which I’ve never seen on twists and rarely see on natural hair. Check it out!

Her hair is just gorgeous! I love Chime!! My hair is BSL, almost MBL stretched and my twists NEVER look even half as thick or as long as hers!

Bee-you-ti-ful! Her hair is gorgeous! 🙂 I love those styles. Natural hair is just so amazing isn't it? Anyone who can't see that is just crazy! (in my opinion)

love my twist, mine are short now about an inch and half, chopped my shoulder length hair a month ago, starting over. protective styling rocks. Won't be without it. very nice post, enjoyed the video.

She -does- look like a Black barbie huh?

She's so pretty. She looks like a Barbie doll I had when I was a kid! LOL. My hair is nowhere near as long or thick as hers, but for some reason, I subscribe…maybe I miss my Barbie? 😉

I saw this the other day! I liked all the styles, I will try them on my shoulder length twists! Hope to get long twists like that 1-day…

I love, Love, LOVE this! Her hair is so beautiful. I never do protective styles and have been surviving off of wash-n-go's since I became natural three years ago. However, this video has made me consider twists. I may have just been converted!

That looks good, and her hair is so thick and long. A very pretty lady. Also "Longhairdontcare2011" has a video of her fishtail braid for natural hair that is gorgeous as well. It's called Fishbone/Fishtail Braid on African American NATURAL Hair (flatironed)
