Hey Nikki and all my Curly Girls,

I am done with my back to school shopping for my daughter, and I still have $112.43 left from my budget. I’m not a PJ and would like to try something new. I need a good Deep Condotioner. I think that I have type 4a/b hair and it’s about shoulder length. What should I buy?!

Thanks,
A curly with a lil extra change

I’m still loving
Jessicurl’s Weekly Deep Conditioner, Jessicurl’s TooShea,
Curl Junkie’s Rehab Moisturizing Hair Treatment, and MyHoneyChild’s Olive You. All of these, with gentle heat, leave my hair smooth, soft and moisturized. The added benefit, especially for the Olive You, Moisture Rehab and Too Shea is the detangling properties. AMAZING! Unfortunately, I can’t get these on the ground in my area… they must be ordered online.

If you’re looking for something more convenient, in a bowl, combine your favorite drug store brand conditioner with oil and honey.

No matter what you decide to use, I’d highly recommend that you (1) apply it to damp, not soaking wet hair in small sections, (2)use heat, (3) leave it in for at least 15 minutes, and (4) do your final rinse with cool water.

What would you recommend for Keithan? Tried any new DT’s lately?
