@CurlsDivine I don't have a fotki yet but I think I will make one so I can share more pics and keep better track of my progress. I did make a journey video that can give you a better idea of where I started and how I got to where I am now as far as length goes. I transitioned for one year and one month Oct. 2008-Nov.2009. Big chopped Nov.2009 and I've been growing it out ever since.
@Imogen I think you would get amazing results going a flexi-rod set and you probably won't need to use nearly the amount that I used, lol. You should give it a try. 🙂 Just use a few to start and see what you get!
@Natakue Thanks, I cut my the bangs a while ago and really at this point they only look like bangs when I wear certain styles because they have grown past my chin. I also do regular trims to help the ends look fresh. I'm glad you like the video!!
@Neeshdoll Thank you!! Yes I do think you could get similar results if you tried this style. I actually do this style on several clients of mine (I'm in cosmetology school, one of the very very few naturals there btw but that's a whole other post/video lol) and their hair isn't as long as mine and it still looks amazingly beautiful and I wrap their hair around the flexi-rods in the exact way that I wrap mine. So I say, give it a try!!!

I'm soooo loving this style. My hair isn't as long as her's (I have a bang and my hair is a little past shoulder length). Do you think I could get similar results if I tried it???
Love it! It's super fun and cute but sexy too! My hair is super duper curly, so I get similar results when I do finger coils…but I wonder if there is a way to make them more like this….bouncier and silkier…????
And I just checked her YT page. She does the braid-and-curl, too! Love it! Another one of my go-to styles. It gives me that big hair, and it makes me look like my hair is 100% natural.
Oooo! Pretty. That's been my go-to style for the past four months. It's great for transitioning since it masks the 2-3 different textures I have going on right now (maybe 70% of my hair is still relaxed), which is what I've been doing.
My last relaxer was in January, and in March I put down the blow drier and flat iron and picked up many, many packs of flexi rods. I have my hair in spirals today, in fact, thanks to my flexi rods.
