Hey Nikki! Loves the Blog! just wanted to show off the best hair day I’ve had thus far! I’ve only been natural for 5 months–after a 12 month transition–and it has by far been the BEST decision I’ve ever made! This pic was taken at work. It’s a 9-day old twist out that I made into a faux hawk. I used Bee Mine Curly Butter when I retwist.

This was my 1st attempt at a twistout using your twist & curl method, except I did it on lightly blown out hair because my hair never dries overnight & I hate sitting under the dryer. Shampooed with Curliscious Curls cleansing cream, conditioned with Coconut Sublime Organic Conditioner, moisturized with Quenched Curls Moisturizer, then worked the Curl Gel-les’c Orgainc Curl Serum/Gel through my hair. I wanted to respond to the person that asked if my hair was a henna or permanent dye. Neither, I have alot of grey at the top, so I just use a rinse, and sit under the dryer for 45 mins. Thanks for asking.

@deondra & anonymous 12:28, thank you! 🙂 that was a second day twist out. i made about maybe 8 twists and i also retwist at bedtime. as far as products i used kinky curly knot today,caster oil & shea butter.

That picture of baby G in the empty house is SOOOO CUTE. She looks so tiny on the floor in the empty room. Just adorable. My friend just had to leave the home she brought her first baby home to and was heartbroken just because of that. But change is good! Love Fierce Friday's true inspiration!
