Hola chicas!

It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them:

Me feeling myself in my first vintage dress. My hair was a twist-out with EVCO and Argan oil.
My name is Olympia. I’m 33 years old. I was at work when I took this
picture Monday morning (May 23, 2011) To achieve this look, I wet my
hair during my morning shower and applied a little curl
activator gel throughout. That’s it. Water and curl
activator gel created this hairstyle.
My hair is natural and chemical-free. I did the big chop 2 weeks ago.
I love my TWA!
I love your site! Here is a pic of my daughter Kira and I at my cousins wedding. This was our first attempt at styling our hair using Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, not bad. I did the big chop back in December to show my daughter that curly girls rock!

1 year Nappy Anninversary!!

Here is my first Twist-out in its 3rd day. I was at work testing my new HP Touchscreen PC.
This is Dawnn… with two N’s. She has a gold
top and jeans on with her grandmothers black vintage clutch. However,
what tops her look off is the multi-colored head wrap on her head.
I was out and about exploring my city, enjoying the spring air. Thanks Nikki for creating a site that’s a part of my must-haves!
Transitioned 5 months; the week I BC’d, 5/23/2011, beautiful, healthy hair and loving it!

Headed out to a fun girls night with mt twist-out! Have a lovely weekend!!

On the way to church rockin my FIRST attempt at a twist-out with my all natural hair! Pinned up in a pompadore in the front, loose in the back.
