It’s Nadia! July 17th will mark 2 years since my Big Chop! Your site has been there with me the whole time and my hair has flourished! I’m so happy I made the decision to go natural and I can’t wait to see what the future brings for Harriet and I. We’re on our way to waist length baby! Thanks for all you do for the natural hair community!
My current regimen:
I wash my hair once a week. I detangle in small sections with conditioner. I apply my leave in conditioner and let my hair dry 75% in 8 large twists. Then I use my butter of choice and put my hair into mini twists. I’ll wear those for a week or two and then wear a twist-out for a few days. Then repeat! Every two weeks I deep condition for an hour. I also moisturize daily with water and peppermint oil and seal paying special attention to my ends!
My nightly routine:
If my hair is feeling dry I’ll moisturize and seal again before putting on a satin bonnet and going to bed!
My current products:
EO Essentials Rosemary and Mint Shampoo, Aussie Moist, Kinky Curly Knot Today, Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, Bee Mine Bee Hold Curly Butter, Afroveda Totally Twisted Ginger Almond Butter, Shea Moisture’s Deep Treatment Masque, coconut oil, and castor oil.

Nadia, we've been natural for almost the same amount of time and I am no where near you in length. I know that my curls have the potential to grow, I just have to not pull it out when my nerves get to me. I am totally adopting your regimen and hopefully with a few tweeks it'll become my own and I can post pics of my growth.

I want to know if Shea Moisture has discontinued their Argan Oil and Raw Shea Butter, Eczema, Psoriasis and Dry Skin Relief Balm,that's the complete name lol. The company isn't really responding to me and it's a product that has really worked well for my eczema. I can't find it in the Walgreens or Target stores. Can someone please help???

O-M-G! Really?!!?? You had me at the growth from July to Decemeber!!! That's only 5 months and already, you could braid it up into a mohawk?!?! Maybe i need to start talking to my hair because she has some explainin to do! LOL!
Gorgeous! I just did a book of hairstyles that I did on two-strand twists called One Hairstyle, Thirty-one Ways available for sale on Amazon. I usually keep my twists in for 3-5 weeks and I needed some styling options. Now I am passing them on.

This is some awesome growth. I stopped relaxing in May '09 and my growth is no where near hers. Shoot I may have to up the biotin or something.
