Tresemme Naturals moisturizing conditioner. The first time my hair has stayed stringy wet while twisting since I've been natural. Thanks ladies!

  • skinnypennie says:

I think I purchased the entire line of AfroVeda products….love, love, love and I purchased some Trader Joes conditioner.

  • Anonymous says:

Oyin Burnt Sugar and Elucence Moisture Benefits Shampoo. Also a Thermal Heat Wrap. Loving it all!

  • Anonymous says:

    1) Safflower Oil (for the ceramides) = Nice!
    2) Curl Junkie's Curls in a Bottle = Love it! Best finisher and frizzbuster that leaves washNgo hair bouncy, shiny and still touchable. Uh, bye-bye KCCC.
    3) Hair Therapy Heat Wrap = Love it! No longer stuck sitting under the hood dryer, free to do other things will deep conditioning.
    4) DevaCurl One Condition = Nice! Still experimenting with it as a leave-in, d/c, rinse-out, etc., w/ and w/out additional oils.

grapeseed oil for ceramides, aloe vera juice for detangling (I will only use this if my hair gets really tangled), and a satin cap because the satin pillowcase ain't enough for my hair lol! Oh and Trader joe's nourish spa conditioner and shampoo, oh and honey, which my hair LOVES.

  • Anonymous says:

Giovanni Direct Leave In Conditioner, Avocado Oil, My Honey Child Twist Out Cream, and Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream. With these four products, I have achieved the most amazing twist outs…finally! I also purchased some flexi rods. Can't wait to try them out!

  • Anonymous says:

Aubrey organics GPB and avocado oil. Replaced my hair therapy wrap – stained the old one with henna. Got the new one in black – hopefully this one will not stain or I will get better at rinsing prior to deep conditioning.

  • Libby says:

Jojoba oil, Bentonite clay, Shea Moisture DT mask & Curl Smoothie, Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat conditioner

…and two products that didn't work for me (Trader Joe's Nourish Spa shampoo and Aubrey's Honeysuckle Rose shampoo)

  • Happykinks says:

I bought Yes to Cuc conditioner
    KCKT
    Shea Butter

  • Rach says:

    100% natural Rosewater….wow!!!

I didn't buy any hair products in June but I really love my purchases from Sarenzo Beads – buy two get one free so, I have 3 new pair of gorgeous earrings and 3 new hairties, love them. Go check out her website the deal is still good until tomorrow!

  • Anonymous says:

Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner, and Natty Butter, it is the bomb. Plan to also get the Shea Moisture Deep Treatment and the Terresentials Mud Shampoo

  • Anonymous says:

Ann, I clicked the link to your hairpiece and it is FAB! Her stuff is the bizness!!!

I bought As I Am double butter cream, twisting cream, and cleansing pudding. It's a nice line but I don't think it will become my staple.

I bought shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, not impressed!

  • Anonymous says:

Purchased Shea Moisture Yucca and Baobab Shampoo, conditioner, mist and masque (brown label). I already had the shea butter conditioning masque (gold label).

I applied it according to BlakIzBeautyful's regimen.

Lemme tell you, I had to smoke a cigarette after using those products, I was that turned out.

  • Anonymous says:

I bought the usual. Suave Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner, Organix Coconut Milk Condish, henna, and a new product (for me at least) Hairfinity.

  • Ann says:

I bought this lovely hair accessory from Boutique de Bandeaux. Love it!
    http://www.etsy.com/listing/58462268/hair-accessories-headband-red-flowers

  • Anonymous says:

I bought a bunch of faux flowers. I will add clips and hair pins to them. It just hit me that I'm more prone to wear flowers in my natural hair. Never had the urge to wear them when I was relaxed. I think other naturals are, too. Not sure why.LOL (????)

  • Roxx says:

@Sammie, I have bought from Hairrogant previously but I often find that when I'm ready to order, many of the products that I want are out of stock. So, I either wait for Hairrogant to get more stock or place a good sized order directly with Anita Grant.

  • drmsd says:

Absolutely nothing!!!!!!!! I'm still in recovery after my henna induced conditioner overload. I said I wasn't going to buy anything new in 2011 and I've stuck with it…..so far. I'm thinking of doing a protein treatment (aphogee 2 step) and/or using a conditioner with more protein in it (AO GPB???). At least I can get those products in one time use and a sample size so I won't be adding to my collection in case I don't like the results.

  • Anonymous says:

I bought the Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade, Giovanni Smooth as Silk conditioner and Oyin Juices and Berries herbal leave in.

  • Anonymous says:

a liter of mixed chicks leave-in conditioner and a liter of giovanni direct leave in conditioner…together, I get puuurfect summer curls 🙂

  • Anonymous says:

I bought Anita Grants creamy cafe latte, peppermint babassu shampoo bar and organic sapote and coconut pomade.

Taliah Waajid's lock it up. My staple hair gel for twists.

Dove intense repair shampoo. Although it contains sulphates and a cone it makes my hair feel amazing.

I didn't realize I bought so much until I started to type this list. I definitely won't be buying anything in July.

  • Anonymous says:

Bought honey for my DC, more jojoba oil, Suave Naturals conditioner, biotin pills (and throwing away now!). Simple.

  • IyanaLove says:

Argan Oil. Pretty well stocked on everything else. Love it. Seals wonderfully and leaves my hair feeling ridiculously soft.

  • Anonymous says:

    I bought:

Im not a product junkie! Just bought these products as staples to last me until late next year.

Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy Cream
= the BUSINESS! Definitely my best purchase in a while.

  • Anonymous says:

  • Yani says:

I caved and ran over to Sephora (the only downside to living right next to Sephora lol) and purchased the Carol's Daughter Monoi Line…but I must say it was totally worth it.

    Well!!!

I was in Ulta and picked up the sample size of Hair Rules
    Cleansing Cream

I am currently waiting for packages. I ordered Curl Junkie Curls in a Bottle

Elucence Moisture Balance Conditioner (I used this at my BFF house and loved it)
Hair Therapy thermal turban heat wrap (my BFF swears by this)
    MyHoneyChild Olive You Deep Conditioner
    Hair Rules Curly Whip

  • Raje says:

I got a sample pack from a local place called Amazing Botanicals. It has a detangler spritz, a pomade and conditioner. It's pretty dope, the best that my hair has felt in ages. I think that I'm going to end my PJ boycott for them.

Other than that, my usual routine of sikakai and shea w/ my own homemade leave in.

  • Anonymous says:

I didn't buy anything. I used my reliable stash (Curls / Giovanni / Shea Moisture). And now that I have box braids installed for the next month or so, I'll be creating my own hair spritz (water / vegetable glycerine / jojoba and grapeseed oils). But hey, I can live vicariously through the PJ out there!

Happy 4th all. It's a blessing to be independent (i.e. the relaxer). Lol!

  • Anonymous says:

I bought the As I Am sample pack of multiple products. Haven't tried them yet.

  • Nicole says:

Eco Styler Gel by Olive Oil. It really does a great job at smoothing my hair for ponytails, buns, and/or twist outs. Not to mention the extremely reasonable price (for such a large amount)!

  • Natural-E says:

Aubrey Organics B5 Design Gel. Five stars!

    Evelyn of http://salonnaturelles.blogspot.com/

  • Tonya says:

I finally bought some Jane Carter products…conditioner, leave-in spray and some hair cream.

Jane Carter's conditioner is WONDERFUL!!!! soft curls for days!!!

been natural for two years and I finally got the Jane Carter experience.

    Now, I gotta try Qhemet!

  • Sammie says:

@ Roxx – have you tried buying Anita Grant products from hairrogant.com – they are based in the US with reasonable shipping rates.

Now what I bought this month – I got the sample pack from Oyin and the burnt sugar pomade. I got Queene Helene deep conditioner, Kinky Kurly Knot Today, some henna, and I think that's it. I think…

  • Shouna says:

Terressentials Left Coast Lemon organic mud shampoo.

  • Roz says:

I bought Yes to Carrots Pampering Conditioner, CHI Silk Infusion (overrated I'm beginning to think….), a few head bands, a paddle brush, and a new blow dryer.

  • MillieB says:

Let's see…SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, Organic Root Stimulator Twist & Lock Gel, Aussie Moist, & Flexi Rods. I love the Shea Moisture, it smells yummy and it has all the good stuff in it (water, shea butter, & coconut oil are the first 3 ingredients). I only tried the twist & lock gel once and i used too much so some of my curls were a bit crunchy >_< …

  • Anonymous says:

I worry about the Qhemet Biologics since it has an ingredient that has not been approved by the FDA

  • mangomadness says:

I bought some coconut oil and some sunflower oil. The sunflower oil was ok…I'll stick to coconut oil.

  • Essense In Natural Land says:

I bought more of the same..eco styler gel, Jamaican black castor oil and henna.

  • Roxx says:

My PJism was in overdrive this month.

First I placed a huge order from Anita Grant. I really enjoy her natural, organic products but I only buy from her if I have a coupon and if I'm making a substantial purchase because of the shipping costs from England. I purchased a huge bottle of organic watermelon seed oil that I use to take down my twist outs and to refresh my 2nd day hair, some rhassoul deep conditioner, organic sapote castor oil, whipped butter and organic sapote and coconut pomade. I also ordered a sample of her aloe rose oil free hair spritz.

Then I placed an order from original moxie. I wanted to try the emollence penetrating moisture and since I was placing an order, I also ordered samples of just about everything else that they offered. I really liked that this company also uses many natural ingredients in their products. Some of their stying products contain some small amounts of cones but, my hair likes them so that works fine with me. I used the lux locks cream with just gel on a twist out the other day and let me tell you, it was the BEST twist out I have ever had since I went natural. I used a little of the hair bling as a pomade for my edges and to release my twists. I can't wait to try the get clean suds free shampoo and intense quench deep conditioner this weekend. I'm still trying to find my HG products but I really enjoy tryng different things until I get it right. Next I think I'm gonna try some things from Qhement Biologics. I really need to get this PJism under control.

I bought the tallish waajid protective mist bodifier and hair one for color treated hair and I'm in love with them both lol

  • Anonymous says:

I finally bought SheaMoisture to celebrate my 1 year Nappiversary!!
I used it for the first time today after overnight olive oil baggying and have my hair in flat twists til 4th of July so I'll see how it turns out 🙂

  • honeybrown1976 says:

A new wig to wear this summer since I'm rocking cornrows for its entirety. Keeping it simple.

  • Unknown says:

I bought some castor oil, jojoba oil, and some knot day solution. Those are my natural hair staples. I've been rockin twist outs, but now I have a bang sewin for a summer protective style since I'm traveling abroad, and I don't wanna lug all my products. 🙂

  • Ash says:

I caved in and finally bought Curlformers today! They are totally worth the price and I love how easy they are to use. I just used them to stretch my hair after washing and bunned when my hair was completely dry.
