This is from my impromptu photo shoot before heading out to Sunday morning church service. I’m rocking a braid-out that I pulled into a side fro-hawk using bobby pins. This is quickly becoming one of my fav styles!!!!

This is a picture of me celebrating my 28th birthday. My hair was flat twisted the night before but it rained and my hair frizzed. To save my hairdo, I bumped up the top and pinned the rest back for my girly version of the fauxhawk.

This is a picture of my natural hair. I was heading to school. When I have a really good hair day, I like to snap pictures. I like to start with a wash every single day using Carols Daughter shampoo and conditioner. Afterward, instead of towel drying, I use a cotton T-shirt. Next, I like to just had a little mousse by Herbal Essence called “Tousle Me Softly” followed by a bit of Argan oil serum and last, I blow dry to dry the hair. I don’t like to air dry because I like knowing how my hair will set before I leave the house.

This is a pic from a braid-out I tried recently. I used Giovanni Leave In and Jane Carter Leave In. I will be 2 years as a Natural Girl in September! The downside is that I have been getting blow outs during my transition and sections of my hair are heat damaged 🙁 The Braid-Out saves the day though! I’ll be rocking these and twist-outs for the next six months!

My name is Kizzy and I’m recently natural . I live in Trinidad. I have had dreadlocs for 3 years and been relaxed twice. Transitioned several times and gone twa twice. I have been textured once and roked afros big and small. I love my hair in any state or form. 🙂
