YOUR Natural Hair T-Shirt

Letha writes;

I’ve heard a lot about the negative comments family members and friends make about our natural hair. If you could have a natural t-shirt made to combat the ignorance, what would it say?!

If you have a problem with my natural hair, Get Over It!

Yea my hair is natural, so who asked you?! Keep your negative comments to yourself.

Grandma it’s OKAY for our generation to have Natural Hair.

i dont like my hair either… i love it!!

  • Marice LaShone Jones-Lasing says:

this is the way my hair is suppose to look.

  • ChocolateJoy says:

    check out

Natural or relaxed. To each is it own. I have saved over a $1,000 a year by going natural and I love it! My T-shirt would say:

"Mom! You lied to me! I wasn't born with a relaxer!"

  • Erika says:

You should check out for natural hair t-shirts. They are high quality and new shirts are added all the time! "Rated R for realness" and "naturally united" with group of naturals are just a few top sellers to choose from.

  • Anonymous says:

I designed my own tshirt line as well! One of the shirts defines the word "natural" by saying, "marked by easy simplicity and freedom from artificiality, affectation, or constraint."

  • AuNaturelDiva says:

I created my own shirt line JUST for that reason!!! Naturals love them!!

@cassburt81: That's a shirt from my tshirt line: It's the KINKS design! ๐Ÿ™‚

I hear where you are coming from, but I also feel like some of these comments could create a divide between natural vs. chemical women. I think all women should learn to embrace their natural texture but comments like this would scare any one off. I do however appreciate the more non- hostile Tshirt ideas ๐Ÿ™‚

  • JustRachy says:

I had an argument about my hair with my mum, about 2days ago and I wish I had a tshirt that said 'you created it,so what's the problem'

  • Aishah says:

Anonymous August 13, 2011 10:00 AM said her mom tells her she looks ugly with curly hair…

Hearing comments like that from the people you love is enough to make anyone HOSTILE. Now I don't necessarily agree with that response but I FULLY understand that it comes from a place of pain.

LET THESE WOMEN VENT!!! I thought that's what this forum was supposed to be about… sharing you hair journey and commiserating with other women that understand your hair struggles.

  • Anonymous says:

I don't like some of these responses. They are very defensive and very naturals vs. relaxed. This should be about coming together. Not trying to make relaxed women feel bad for having straight hair. I don't agree with that.

why are the lady's so defensive?

I am natural, but I just can't stand when naturals have that sort of ''we're better than you'' attitudes.

Most of you were relaxed at one point in your lives too.
