It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them–
My usual style- – a flat twist on freshly shampoo’d and deep conditioned hair. Just hanging around the house. I DC’d with EVOO, Honey, Egg, and Coconut oil, rinsed with Apple Cider Vinager then conditioned again (tryna get the smell out). Then I put Garnier Fructise Leave-in conditioning cream and flat twisted down.
I have been looking at your site for about two weeks now, getting the courage for my Big Chop. This morning, I finally did it, took out my weave, and cut it all off myself! I bought a wig last night in case I got scared, but never even put it on to compare!!! Day one and I love it!!! Now I just have to tell my husband…
This is a pic of me at my friend Gary’s 30th birthday bash. I have 2-strand twists! I BC’d in Nov 2010 and this was 6 months later 🙂
TGIF!! 🙂 On my way to the mall rocking my faux hawk! I used Kinky Curly’s Knot Today & Curling Custard, & tuck combs to hold my sides down.
My bomb twist-out for my trip to NYC. Thank goodness for my aloe vera + coconut oil mix as its refresher.
I have been natural for 7 years, I had locs for 5 1/2 years. I just took my locs down, and I’m loving every minute of this journey. I’m headed to work in this picture. This is my first try at a wash n go using Kinky curly products.
This is me on my way to a good friend’s 30th bday party. This is a flat twist-out that I rocked for the rest of 4th of July weekend!!
Enjoying a night out with my sister. She’ s hiding behind my purple hair, lol!
Looking and feeling fierce!
