It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them–
In the office..my first puff 11 months post BC… yay!
First of all, your blog s a Godsend! I couldn’t have transitioned successfully without your amazing content. This is a photo of me chilling on campus. I used perm rods to curl my TWA up this time. Perfect for looking cute on a hot summer’s day in Miami!
Me and My Twin sister Trina
I got her to go natural! She’s rocking MicoBraids.
And I have a twist out using Jane carter curl defining cream and Totally Twisted Mousse.
Were on our way to Dominican Republic.
The face of a future engineer! I had an interview for an engineering internship, and this was the hairstyle that I wore. I flat twisted my hair and bantu knotted the ends. And guess what – I got the internship! And they believe that I’m a great match for the company, so they’re hoping that I apply to their company after graduation. It just goes to show that you CAN be natural even in corporate environments! And natural can be professional!
A wash and go! Taking a mommy time out while all 4 kiddies nap! Whew! Lol! 🙂
I was waiting for my husband to get off from work and take me to dinner for our anniversary. Happy that I have finally gotten the hang of the twist-out. Added a red flower for a little “flair.”
Just hang’in at home, after 7 hours of completing a twist-down.
Going out on the town
I hope this e-mail reaches you in good health. This is a photograph of day one of my Twist-Out with Miss Jessie’s Baby Buttercreme. The photo was taken moments before I went for a dip into one of the many blue holes in Belize!

A picture of my banded twist-out.
That day, I was on my way later that day, to rock it at a danceclass.
I think I have some sort of fetish with rocking free natural hair when dancing.
