Last week a Twitter follower suggested I check out and interview the creator of StylePantry– an amazing fashion blog produced by one gorgeous natural. Can I just say… Folake Kuye Huntoon is it! Hair. Face. Fashions. Stunning. I immediately reached out, and what started as a conversation about my own fashion needs turned into a collaboration! Every Wednesday, starting today, Folake will share her ‘Look of the Week’ with the CurlyNikki community. And, AND, she’s going to dress me for the NYC October meetup. Yeah thanks for taking my suggestive tweet (@busybody1).I even started a thread in the forum for feature suggestions expressing my admiration of her hair. I agree Mrs.Huntoon is the ish. She definitely has her own style. What I like is that I can get inspiration from some aspects of her style as it isn't 100% me. But I like most of the ways she accessorizes. Thank you for this series. And perhaps over time other fashionistas with different styles can be shown.
