With Fall here, its all about protecting my hair from the sometimes harsh elements. I wear twists most of the time, but always had problems with them becoming fuzzy too soon at the roots. One day I attempted a different night routine that has become my go to method for a neat root for a longer period of time and stretched twists! Most people hate shrinkage and this method certainly helps minimize shrinkage I have discovered. I wanted to share in hopes that your readers may appreciate this very easy way to maintain their twists… especially after they took that time to do them in the first place!
This is a good idea but, I have short hair and I'm currently doing twist-outs so does anyone have any suggestions on what to do to combat frizziness and shrinkage?
I usually do a high ponytail so the twists aren't flat when I wake, and sometimes I will wrap my twists around my head, as if my hair was straight. Naptural85 has a video on how to wrap twists.
Great post!! I'm a huge fan of shrinkage, so this is great for me!! 🙂

i love doing this tooo- and sometimes i put a ponytail in the back instead of pinning it. i hate fuzziness and i hate shrinkage so much so that helps
Do your twists flatten when you do that?
That would be my only concern. I like plump twists, but they do go all over the place and shrink when I sleep.
