Just cute & adorable…I wish my 14 yr was this age again…well, I might be taking it a little too far! hahahahahahahhahahaha
And I'm so glad you kept her nickname Boogie, I love it and it fits her little cute self. Enjoy and make sure you you're not afraid to "tighten her up when needed" because it makes a big difference when she grows up and is respectful, polite and a dream to be around…that's what everyone says about my not so-little anymore Boogie!
Nikki you are making a great sacrifice for the hubster. Time will pass by quickly, and when baby G gets to school, you'll be wishing for times like these. Hopefully you can establish your own support group. Maybe other post-doc wives might be facing similar adjustments that you are as well.

I have a confession…I log on during the day several times to see if you've posted anything about Boogie, LOL!!!! I go back and read the other stuff later. I just LOVE seeing and hearing about her. She is soooooooo cute. Pictures of her just make my day! Keep em' coming. By the way, like my mom says…"Children aren't bad, they're just active"
She's adorable! But I know how you feel. we're in Fort Worth, with no family, friends 45 mins-1hr away and no for real babysitters. We're just starting to get some sitters actually after being here for 10 months. Intense ain't even the only word for this! I just joined a MOPS group and it has been great. We're the only blacks but everyone has been great and I've made 1 for real friend. Also, I put my oldest in a Mom's Day Out program where its like 2x/wk for 5 hrs. I hope you find something similar in your area. It helps. 🙂

She's gorgecous! I'm liking her hair, most definitely will have curls that pop! On a side note, Nikki, you are so blessed to be doing such big things. Who would've ever thought wearing your hair natural would bring you so much(Essence.com, um wow!) You are an inspiration, truly admire your hard work and dedication. And because of that, you get to be a stay at home (working) Mom, can't get any better than that.

Oh how I wish y'all could really see her in action. My parents used to say, 'oh, she isn't bad… she's just happy', but after keeping her off and on for a week they now know my struggle. She is off the chain! So smart, so spoiled… hilarious and funny but boy can she throw a tantrum.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! That is all. LOL! Really, Boogie is so stinkin' cute! Dang it if she doesn't almost make me want to have another kid… Bahaha! Almost.
