I have many different “wash and go” methods for my natural hair. In-fact, I usually never do a wash and go the same way twice, but this has got to be one of my favorite methods! Perfect for the winter season, but can be used throughout the year, this “wash and go” stretches out my hair, defines my curls, and best of all, I get to leave the house with dry hair; talk about overcoming your shrinkage issues! No styling products or curling creams necessary! Hair is left soft, shiny, stretched, and manageable! Hope this helps!
It really works!! I was very skeptical because I have a slightly looser curl pattern. My hair loves to frizz. plus I didn't have the organic mud wash she uses. But it works. It really does work. I've tried 2 different inexpensive conditioners on 2 different occasions, and my hair came out amazing! Forget twist-outs! This is my go to style all-throughout the year. Thanks!!
Great Video but that technique works with her texture and curl pattern but would not work with most. He texture is Very curly and her strands are very smooth. She would have a healthy head of hair probably without even trying. Her clumps are very nice and you can see with her smoothing technique that it is just her hair type that gives this style such success.
Great video and great head of hair!
Nice video, I tried this last night. Maybe I should have used the same type of organic wash Naptural85 did because as I just re-watched the video, she said it helped with moisture and definition. I used regular moisturizing conditioner and although I do have some definition, I have frizz as well, and my hair feels dry. Of course I big chopped almost 6 months ago and don't have the length the Naptural85 does so that could also make a difference. Either way, I will try again.

She's been growing her hair out for over 3 years (I think 5 months past 3 years). If you're planning on going natural, please don't expect to get other people's growth. I thought my hair would grow 6 inches a year but it's something more like 4 inches each year, but it's all good :-).
Very good video …will probably try when my hair is longer
Great video and a beautiful head of hair. Not sure of this will work for my fine strands but sill a great technique.
I absolutely love her videos. I can't wait to try this.

Her hair is beautiful. I am feeling inspired again to go natural. lol I wonder how long it took her to grow her hair out?
lovely hair. this seems like a twist out instead of a wash and go but it's all good. lovely girl, lovely hair!
Naptural85 has incredibly thick, naturally dark & shiny hair. She seems to have that kinda hair that you could wash, let air dry with no product, and that ish would still look moisturized and full. I looove her videos, but I have to be honest with myself – my fine, 4a strands will NEVER acheive what hers can. And my hair most certainly is NOT going to look even remotely presentable using this method…… she's so informative and seems to have such a great spirit.
Interesting! Kind of a cross between a normal wash and go and a twist out. I have a general question though, does her hair hang so heavy because she has thicker strands that are moisturized? My hair always seems to float even when it's really soft, so I feel like my hair wouldn't fall out of the twist shape that easily! I might experiment with this idea though. Thanks for the video!
I love Naptural85 so when I saw this video I tried it the next day. It did not turn out well. Looked a hot mess, LOL. I knew my hair would not look good with no product so I used knot today as a leave in. The hair was stretched but not nearly defined as hers. I think she just has a different hair texture, mine is more coarse so it needs more product to achieve definition. I ended up wearing it in a stretched out puff for a few days. Oh well, I will stick to my twist outs.
Great video,i look forward to trying this out! 😀
