It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them–
Here’s a picture of me at work. This was my first attempt at a flexi rod set…I think it turned out pretty good. I’ve been trying to embrace my natural curls, and stopped flat-ironing and blow drying my hair about three weeks ago. Your site has been so influential! Thanks for the inspiration!
I just wanted to show the two sides to my hair personality. I can be curly Q or straight and sleek!
My signature puff for those not-so hot hair days…life saver when short on time for work!!
I was leaving the hotel from my vacation with a 4day old twist out pulled into a high loose curly puff with a plastic headband to help hold down any flyways.
I was on “staycation” and headed for a night out on the town. I BCd on February 18th and this was just a few days past my 6 month mark. This was the 2nd day of a twist out. (I retwist at night.) Thank you for this site; I have learned so much and I would really be lost without it.
This is me enjoying LSU football during Tropical Storm Lee @ a friends home.. This is a refresh with water on 6 day hair. I JUST LOVE MY HAIR!
It’s my birthday, and my boyfriend is taking me to see TWIST, a musical directed by Debbie Allen and starring Tamyra Gray. My hair is in flat twists in the back leaving the hair at the top and to the side loose.
I don’t remember where I was going. Clearly its out on this side, but it was all flat twisted to the one side and unleashed! I made my earrangs too!!
I big chopped April 2011, and I can finally wear a pony puff. I am loving it!!!!
Send in your favorite picture with a caption detailing where you were (or where you were headed to), along with a brief description of your hairstyle, to email@example.com. I’ll post several each Friday. Be sure to use ‘Fierce Friday’ as the subject line!
We always need more!
Everyone looks really good in their hairstyles. Mallary got to love that shrinkage 🙂 both styles look great on you. Luvbeinfree hair and eyebrows are on point. Temetria and Shalonda both of you ladies hair are gorgeous and so thick, might have to try one of those styles for me.
