BOLD, FIERCE, & FABULOUS (BFF) or NOT?

If you ask me, I would tell you that shoes are a girl’s real best friend. Shoes are essential to your wardrobe and always make a lasting impression. Here’s a closer look at the shoe above. Now you tell me if this is Bold, Fierce, and Fabulous (BFF) or Not.

Details:

Name: LYLA

Designer: H by HALSTON

Color:Tan Reptile

Material: Faux Leather

Heel Height: 5 ¼

ShoeAcidal thoughts:

This shoe is to die for (Seriously, the stock photo doesn’t do it justice at all). This is a beautiful shoe that can be dressed up or down.

Lyla is extremely comfortable and has a little extra cushion in the insole that invites your feet to relax and stay awhile.

Not to mention, walking in these divas are a breeze! Honestly, I could have literally worn these all around the mall without any complaints.

They’re the perfect accessory to any outfit that will have people saying “I love your shoes” everywhere you go. These shoes can be found at BAKERS.

Being the shoeaholic that I am, I own them. Here’s an on the foot photo-

BOLD, FIERCE, & FABULOUS (BFF) or NOT?
BFF’s are my picks of shoes for the everyday shoe lover. Designer shoes are great but, lets be real their price tag is not a good look sometimes.

My purpose for creating Bold, Fierce, and Fabulous (BFF) is to show you shoes that make a HUGE statement in your wardrobe but, a small IMPACT on your bank account.

I would love for you to spend time on my shoeHotline at www.shoeacidal.com . If you have any shoe related questions Subscrbe to The ShoeHOTLINE FORUM and introduce yourself. Follow me on Twitter @ShoeHOTLINE or Facebook.

i want to give brittany and anonymous a BIG HUG!! i don't think the poster ever claimed to be an expert and all the posters on this very lovely site definitely are not 'experts' on the subject matter they post on. There are a few with credentials on what they write, some who have "life training” on the subject, and others who are just giving their opinion. So give me a break. It amazes me what people will write behind the mask of a computer screen or anonymous. Were you unliked in high school?

And puhleesse, my shoe size varies from 8 to 9.5 depending upon shoe brand so spare me…so I guess I don’t know my shoe size either.

Definitely BFF, but I would likely fall down and break my neck if I tried to walk in them!!! I have a pair of shoes with the same tan reptile pattern, but they're peep toe slingback sandals, with about a 2" heel. They're also BFF, but much safer to walk in 🙂

After years of wearing "fierce" very high heels to work, dance and walk around in "the mall", I have had foot surgery twice and will be having another procedure done in 2012. I visit a podiatrist regularly and get steroid injections in my big toes due to arthritis and the inability of the toe to bend. I urge you young ladies to be sensible about your shoe game. Foot problems and knee injuries await you and the designers do not care, they keep making the heels higher and higher because they know all we really care about is looking cute, not the care of our feet and knees. What looks good and works for you in your 20's will cause you many problems later in your 40's and 50's. Hate to be the voice of reason, but there are so many more important things than a 4-5" pair of shoes. Some things are better worshipped from afar.

Me personally I don't care if they are Faux or not, My concern is comfort and looks. I love my heels to look fabulous and don't hurt my feet. I have so many shoes that the shoes not being leather is never an issue, because honestly I may wear these for a minute and be on to the next. I LOVE this new feature and I will be a regular on the blog! :-))

I just wish they were REAL leather. I hate to pay for faux, no matter the price. You are working them though!
