It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them–
Wearing brush coils. On my way to work. This is my fav style!!!!
My Janelle Monae look! Really high bouffant that I pull together on my “bad hair days”…works as a proctective style too!
I finally tried a ‘do with a scarf! This kind of reminds me of a pin up look. 🙂
This is me (right) and my sister at a hotel lounge in Dallas. I recently just came back from serving 4 years in Germany and this was my “Welcome Back to the U.S.” outing! I’m rocking a dry twist-out using Miss Jessie’s ‘ Curly Pudding’ and castor oil!
Braidout with bun on top. I used Shea Moisture’s Curl Enhancing Smoothie on dry
hair to set my braidout.
I was inspired by the French twist with scarf look you posted (plus I was at work testing with some new equipment). Thanks for the new (old) idea.
I wanted to submit this photo to your Show& Tell category. I am rocking a chunky twist out the I pulled up into a huge puff. You can find more of my creative styles on my youtube channel at www.youtube.com/user/sadejones001
A wash and go on election day! Love the site!
I was in Los Angeles for the Childish Gambino concert and the cast of Community was in the house! I ended up in the merch line behind the beautiful Yvette Nicole Brown and was able to snag a photo with her. She was such a sweetheart. I mentioned reading her feature on the website and she said she would have to update us all soon with her latest regimen and products. Just wanted to share 😀 Stay curly!
Finally got a day off and decided to have a “me marathon” (spoil myself day). I was so excited about finally mastering green eyeshadow! I had a simple wash and go and used a messy flat twist as a “headband”.
