Naturally Fashionable- Pep Squad!{Rugby “Make Your Own” Cardigan, Uniqlo Turtleneck (similar), Gap Skirt (similar), H&M Shoes}

I’ve worn this sweater many times before, but this time I decided to try a different spin by testing out a new color scheme. This gold/sapphire/amethyst combo has gotten me thinking I should inject more jewel tones into my wardrobe.

I’m a career gal, living in NYC while attempting to climb the corporate ladder one fashionable footstep at a time. I always dreamed of a glamorous job in the fashion industry, but instead I became a technology geek and now spend most of my days talking bits and bytes with IT Directors. Even though khakis and polos are the standard uniform within my industry, I prefer dresses and high heels. The only fashion rules I follow are to have fun and keep it classy… everything else is fair game! I look forward to sharing both my on- and off-duty looks with the Curly Nikki community each week. I am literally ALL OVER the web, and you can connect with me via Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, and Pinterest.

    @Shunk Rugby items go on sale ALL THE TIME. I paid ~$40 for my sweater, plus another $15 or so for 2 custom patches.

    Right up my alley…love it!

    I like the color combos. Try www.gwenstreasures.com to help with your jewelry matches. They put together custom collections for people at a very affordable price.

    I think you are wearing great pieces, they just don't pair well together, bc they all seem like stand-alone items. The second link you sent Dana, where you paired the yellow skirt with the classic black scoop-necked shirt was gorgeous! This skirt paired with too many textures can create kind of a boxy effect. Thanks for sharing!

    The skirt I'm wearing is from the Gap. Unfortunately, I bought it over a year ago, and they no longer sell this exact style. 🙁

    @Dana
    Here are some other ways I've styled this skirt:

    Not feeling this outfit but really like the skirt. Nice try though and it's cool other's are diggin' it. Keep it coming!

    can we know exactly where that skirt is? the bow is what makes it cute and the gap version doesn't have one.

    I think this outfit is adorable!

    I'm not feeling this outfit. Sweater is very 50's Happy Days. Not such a carefree time in history for some of us. 🙂

    Skirt and top are cute, but not together. The skirt would be cute with some sort of print top. The whole look needs some jeweled accessories.
