via The Style Sample Something about this overcoat (as it is a proper overcoat) makes me feel like a cross between Purple Rain-era Prince and Sherlock Holmes. Which is to say it makes me feel EXTRASUPERDOPE.
“Tell Wendy and Lisa to find Dr. Watson, stat!”
Gap jeans, NY & Co shirt, overcoat from an old costume, vintage clutch and shoes, Urban Outfitters scarf
Do you ever wear clothes that make you feel like a character (in a good way)?

That is 100% prince inspired. haha LOVE it. That jacket is amazing!
Oh yeah, absolutely!! I tend to "channel" characters of the 20s through 70s, depending on my mood, but some of my fave looks are June Cleaver, Audrey Hepburn and Billy Holiday (with the flowers;).
Do you lady!!
Shelli
I'm not feeling this one and could never allow myself to wear socks with sandals but You Go Girl. @ Anonymous 4:32 PM – LOL! I'm from the STL…so true!
Not trying to be a troll or negative, but I really don't like these posts on fashion. Most of the time they suck. Sorry.
Hi lady, where are you rocking this style?
Posters, before you thumbs-down a look, please consider the style 'ethos' of that region.
What may look fresh in LA (Los Angeles) may not go over too well in LA (Baton Rouge).
I live in the Mid-Atlantic region, but my family lives in STL. You should see the gawks we get as we strut down the street with our east-cost style. 'where day from?" LOL!
i adore the look. very chic.
I love the overcoat. Really nice 'dramatic' piece. I too could not rock socks and sandals though. But everything else, I'm digging lol
im sorry, this has to be one of the worst outfits ive ever seen in my life! but her hair is beautiful 😉 *shrugs* to each his own!
Correction- This is The Style Sample instead of Pantry (what it says up top). Not sure if I could do the socks and sandals but she pulls it off well, love her style!
love the look! simple, classic, chic & vintage! something appropriate for all ages!
Love the look!
Too much going on.
Is this pantry or style sample? Either way, still cute!!!
I like her style! Down-to-earth colors and jewelry/accessories are on point! Hairs looking good too.
definitely a Wendy & Lisa vibe to it, simply gorgeous!
You look AWESOME!! From the tippy top of your hair to you socks and sandals clad feet! Any article of clothing that can be both Sherlock AND Prince is fine by me.
