Love the website it has help me so much within the last year. I live in NJ on the border of PA and last year I got tired of perming my hair and burning my scalp. My 9 year also was having the idea of straight hair is better. So I transitioned from June of 2010 and chopped Jan 2011. It has been and is a beautiful journey… the hair styles I come up with or those copied from Youtube has helped me look fierce and fabulous. This year is my 15th wedding anniversary and I renewed my vows by taking photos. I haved attached a family photo because I was so happy with my hair. Thanks Nikki for your support through the Curlynikki website my mom and girlfriend are now natural too!

Twist and Curl from air dried hair. I twisted using flaxseed gel, castor oil and Oyin burnt sugar pomade for sealing. I was going to a gathering with some classmates for an end of the semester party for FAMU’s Nursing School 2013 gathering!

During a photoshoot for new modeling comp card photos, I wore a a dry flat twist-out using Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy Cream, my favorite product 🙂

@ije, the lipgloss I am wearing is by Express. I forget the name of the shade, but it is nude and smells like vanilla 🙂 And for the makeup tutorials, I am a makeup artist and am working on some tutorials 🙂
@Erica, for my flat twistout, I create 8 flat twists. I part my hair horizontally at my ears and with the bottom half, create four twists going down. With the top half, I create a side part and have two twists each going toward each ear (if that makes sense).
