Tips to Help Your Natural Hair Hang Down
Hola Chicas,

It’s Thursday which means we’ve officially taken over Essence for the day!

¡Viva la Revolución!

Check out my latest installment, where I give advice on achieving hang time… helping your natural hair hang down! Go over there, check it out, ‘like it’, share it and comment! Also, leave questions of your own for the next article!

Thanks divas!

Later Gators,

Thank you for at least encouraging people to be realistic and try work with what they've got. Unfortunately some people will probably miss that message while they continue to make their beautiful Afro hair into something it's not. Hair does not have to hang, or swang, to be beautiful.

I wish my hair would defy gravity and hang up ;o( Grass always looks greener on the other side.

Braidouts work best for me. After my pre-poo/wash/condition rituals I put my hair in two ponytails and let it air dry for a few hours. Then I braid it, wrap it up, and let it dry for 24 hours. Then I just re-braid it with a little bit of moistureizer every night before bed. I get excellent stretch and also a lot of volume.
