Hey sister girls!
I wanted to contribute to Fierce Friday. I calls this the loc twist. It’s a combination… half locs, half twists. It is my new style for those of us who can’t decide which way to go. This is my dog who sports the same style as I!
Any of you thinking of loc’ing?
Any of you fresh out of locs? If so, what’s your current routine?

Very interesting style! Her hair is so shiny and pretty. 🙂 ~KF519
Part of me wants to lock my hair, but I love my loose hair way too much. I decided to just lock one section of my hair in the back. I started in earlier this year and it's really starting to take shape and lock. It is going to be super cute in the summer with some beads, threads, or jewelry hanging down from my big curly hair!
Man ANOTHER new style for me to catch up on! Off to YouTube to see what I find about this. Lol
You are absolutely beautiful and the hair is gorgeous so beautiful & shiny!

One of my favorite quotes..every 😀
Beautiful as usual. Your hair story has inspired me too. My sister (who favors you by the way..powerful Billingsley genes 🙂 has locs, I didn't like the idea of so permanent but it really works for you guys.

Hey CN family, No I started my locs in the usual way, but my ends never locked, I miss my bushy bush so I decided to comb out the ends of my locs and sometimes I twist them or I wet them and let the natural curl just go. My hair is fuzzy, it is soft and kinkycurly on top. I don't over twist the loc at the root cause I like it more natural looking. So the ends of some are fully locked and some are half locked and half twisted. I leave the front fully out so that if I should need to work, I can throw on a wig and blend the front in any way I need to. I use Vitapointe and Natures blessing, yeah good old hair oil. But it is so yummy, it has Olive oil, coconut, Sage oil, peppermint, rosemary and lots of other stuff. I change up with Karens Body beautiful, and Ms, Jessies mixed with Vitapoint, and a little dab of any kind of hair polish, give crazy shine. No I didn't start with twist, I wanted them small so that I could rod set, shake and go. My hair wanted to loc so badly it would lock with twist in 3 weeks. I got so tired of twist in, take them out, so this is the best of both worlds. My hair in back will stay fully locked, that is where I always had breakage no matter what I did. My hair in back was so much more fragile. I swim a lot so I lather in the steam after with Zapote conditioner and Carols daughter hair milk. Sometimes I do a castor oil conditioner which my hair drinks. It smells bad but it really really conditions. I so enjoy this site, so many great product and information. Thanks Nikki!
very pretty! what products does she use?
I'm loving her hair! It looks so healthy. P.S. She will always be Aunt Viv to me!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves taking pictures with my pup:-)

They look like twists that she has kept in her hair for an extended period of time. I'm like her…I think I want locs but can't commit so I wear twists alot.
So, what are "loc twists"? are they starter locs or twists that are fuzzy so that they appear to be locs? Im confused :-S *scratches head*
So blessed!
I want that Dog!!!
Beautiful and cute dog too!
Your hair looks so shiny and healthy! Are you coming out of the locks or going in?
