It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them—
I love your website! I couldn’t have made it through my transition without you. I transitioned for one year and big chopped on 03/2011. This is a picture of my husband and I on New Year’s Eve. It is a bantu knot out on stretched hair. Please check out my tumblr @ go-naturals.tumblr.com !
This is the result of a two-strand twist out. I pinned up the sides to create the mo-hawk effect. I was sitting outside and because the weather has been so up and down I decided to snap this picture while enjoying some fresh air.
6 day old braid out!! Big Hair Dont Care!!
Day 2 of my twist out using KCCC. I was headed to see a client and was feeling pretty good about my hair.
At the high school teaching the kids:)
My curlformers set FINALLY looks good. I set them with the CN defining spritz. Thanks for the recipe Nik!
I made the big chop in August and this is my very first 2 strand twist (did it all by myself). I’m loving it and loving my new natural hair! Love your website, it’s helped me so much!
Fresh twist out on wet hair. I used shea moisture products.
After 7 months of transitioning, I BC’d on Jan 6th! This is a pic of my 1st style (Twist Out) all natural. Used As I Am Naturally Leave In, sealed with EVCO and styled with Eco Styler Gel (Kept it simple)! I am LOOOOOOOOOVING my hair! Couldn’t do it without this site!!! 🙂
This a Wash-N-Go with Mixed Chicks Deep Conditioner, Tresemme’ Flawless Curls Mousse. Headed outside to play with my two year old daughter!
