I was losing a ton of hair after I gave birth too. I blamed it on the new shampoo I was using and stopped using it. Somebody told me it was just the fact that I was postpartum so I shouldn't worry. I just figured I was overreacting and decided not to pay it any attention. Welp. It turned out to be Grave's disease (hyperthyroidism). Pay attention to anything else you may be experiencing too. I was tired all of the time, lost a lot of weight without trying and many other things that I chalked up to being a new mom. Finally, a year and a half after my son was born, my eye started bulging and I went to the doc and I was finally diagnosed and began treatment. I wish I had gone sooner because that first year of my son's life should've been more joyous but I was quietly and unknowingly suffering. You may very well be just experiencing some postpartum hair loss and I hope that's all it is but it doesn't hurt to get checked for something more. I hope I wasn't being a party-pooper with this but when you have Grave's disease, all it takes is a major life change (like giving birth) to trigger it and your system goes ballistic.

I wonder if eating the placenta helps? I've heard that there the placenta can be dried into tablet form and it helps tremendously with hormone regulation, which would essentially combat hair loss. Just a thought, I don't know if I would actually do it not! lol

Well I had my bundle of joy over 20 years ago!lol So I don't really remember how much my hair shedded during the pregancy. Plus, I wore my hair in braids. However, after each take-down I did notice that I would loose A LOT of hair! Was glad when things went back to normal!:)
