Let's Cook- Sautéed Vegetables

Sautéed Vegetables

Recipe by Chef Huda

1 large bunch of broccoli – rough chopped
1 1/2 cups of mushrooms -thinly sliced
2 large red bell peppers – thinly sliced
2 large orange bell peppers – thinly sliced
4 cloves of garlic-minced
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

Wait…please, wash your hands

Now, let’s make something Pretty and Delicious.

Let’s start with the sauté of it all. Place a large sauté pan (skillet) over medium-high heat , add in oil. Add in garlic and let cook until soft. Then add in bell peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, salt and pepper and cook until tender (about 3-5 minutes) until soft. Stir and taste. Remove from stove and serve while hot. Now, all you have to do is Enjoy!

Chef Huda Note: This is a great dish and you can add more veggies, if your desire. It’s great with rice, potatoes, chicken, beef, fish or just by itself.

**Chef Huda Healthy Tip: Broccoli is a great source of vitamin C & K, folate, calcium, iron, fiber and potassium. These nutrients help the body fight against cell damage and promotes healthy cell growth in the body. Vitamin C is great for your hair and skin.
