I’m a transitioner. This is me in my classroom on break, rocking a bantu knot-out. This is the only style I really know how to do, for now!
My hair after cutting 12 inches off and donating to Locks of Love. This is a curlformers set using only Elasta QP Styling Foam on freshly washed hair.
I was on my way to lunch with my bestie.
I was heading out to a Natural Hair Meetup, where I was a product sponsor for the event Feeling kinda fierce 🙂
I was in LA at a pre-grammy party where I saw the one-and-only Bilal!
So excited:) I was wearing a twist-out on slightly blown-out hair,
which I had done using the tension method (love that technique!) and a
lil shea butter. I got the earrings from Nappy Rutz months ago and
finally decided to rock them. Fun night!
I recently decided to cut one side of my hair, which I rocked for the first time last Friday to Girl’s Night – They loved it! I let my son’s barber get a lil creative with the design, which I really liked, and rocked with a flat twist-out.
I am on my way to work, rocking my favorite hairstyle the tried and true wash and go. I used mixed chicks leave in conditioner to define my curls.
My first SUCCESSFUL twist-out! About to go to a charity ball for my med school.
This picture was taken while I was at work feeling sassy. I was so excited to wear my new Red flower. This is a wash and go with coils bangs.
On Valentine’s Day, I decided to rock a flexi rod set. However, I always have a hard time maintaining the curls. They next day I was left with curls on one side so I decided rock a side swept do. I fell in love with the look and rocked it for 2 days. It was the first time that I was able to get more than one day out of my flexi rod sets. I was totally happy.
We always need more!
