It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them–
Yesterday Syl was at granny’s rummaging through old photos and texting me the foolishness…
Out with friends, and I love how the photograph captured the happiness I felt. Awesome when that happens! I was having a good hair day– two strand twists done with JC Nourish & Shine.
Before class/work, I captured my twist out (styled on wash-n-go tresses). Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in conditioner locked in the moisture.
At work showing off my wash ‘n go (Giovanni Direct Leave-in and Jojoba oil – my staples)
At work in my office.
I’m rocking a Flat twist-out. I wore this from Sun til Fri morning when I took it down. Twisted using Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie and gel. Sealed with coconut oil.
After class… day 2 of my flexi- rod set, air dried over night.
I am about 6 months post relaxer right now.
I was waiting for my friend in the fitting room and decided to snap a
pic while waiting. This was my take on your new signature french roll.
I guess I had more of a greaser look with mine LOL. Check me out on
CurlyNikki I love your site! It has helped me out a lot this past year with my transition. In this picture I was on my way to work. This was a twist out using Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie.
I took this photograph after leaving work. I’m sporting a 4-day old twist out – one of my favorite styles after wearing protective styles all winter. After a henna and indigo treatment, I deep conditioned my hair with Shea Moisture’s Deep Treatment Masque and sealed my ends with Jamaican Black Castor Oil. To maintain this style, at night I spritz a little rosewater and apply a light oil if necessary and re-twist random sections.
Out with my family on my birthday. This hairstyle is a bantu knot-out.
My faux bun @ my sister’s birthday dinner.
We always need more!
