My hubby snapped a pic of my spirals enjoying the cool Texas breeze after a rockin’ church service!
This is my faaaaavorite do!!! One strand twists…Day 7… I used Organic Root Simulator Replenishing Conditioner, Olive Oil, Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in Conditioner, and IC Fantasia Olive Oil Gel..I was on my way to happy hour with my husband. It was our last date of 2011. Thanks for this amazing site.
Hi Nikki! Here I’m wearing my hair in Urban Twists from The Damn Salon. In this pic I had just gotten home from a long day in class.
I did my first two strand twists @ 9 months post BC with Beautiful Textures Curl Control Defining Pudding from Sallys. I was headed to have carpal tunnel surgery and needed a style I didn’t have to bother with for a while.
I got a free hairstyle this weekend and I really hated it on me. So I messed around with it until I came up with something I liked. I kept the cornrows in and blew out the rest into a frohawk and then messed around with the front and pinned up the back.
I soooo love your website. I rocked a fab Wash-n-Go with a side braid using Shea Moisture Products during the CIAA in Charlotte.
After a month of straightened hair, I could not wait to get my curls back. This is my first wash and go in about 6 months and I’m LOVING it!!! Can’t wait until my 1 year post BC anniversary on June 29th.
Just BC’ed two days ago, and rocking a day-old twist out. Loving the new me!
Me at work, with my 3 day old twist out 🙂
It was party time, and I did my first braid out on dry hair. I was worried because it was almost straight, but the humidity hit it, and it looked awesome!
