Looking fierce for Fierce Friday!

Siri
This is what I call my ‘girly fro’. It was one of those quick and convenient wash & go’s. I had a good day at school and could not wait to pick up my camera and keep a memory. I also fixed in my Ankara handmade bowtie to accessorize. Check my hair blog out at sirinusu.blogspot.com π You inspired my hair journey, all the way from Kenya, Africa.

Ashlei
Just another day on the grind. I randomly did a chunky twist-out the night before on the top portion of my head and created a sort of tapered fro look. It’s kind of crazy, but kind of fun, haha! π You can check the deets at KinksAreTheNewPink.blogspot.com!

Tanisha
Rocking a twist out with one side pinned up at work.

Tanisha V.
My friend and I rocking twist-outs at a birthday celebration.

Khadine
Just washed my hair and came out of the shower. Decided to take a pic of my “naked” hair. I felt so great about its healthy state, especially after somebody asked what I used to achieve this look and my reply was water. The best!

Cheri
At Jazz in the Gardens waiting for Patti and Mary J Blige to perform. This is a 3 week old roller set in the midst of the Miami heat and humidity.

Danea
On my way to a black tie fundraiser. Braid-out on freshly washed hair, roll and side bun (using Shelli’s tutorial!) and two fake orchids sacrificed from my living room decor at the last second. Loved it!

IrieDiva
Recent big chopper from Jamaica rocking my TWA!!! (in my munchkin’s headband :D) more on www.iriediva.com

Marshel
The day has finally arrived. On my way to the salon to cut off my year and a half transitioning ends. Ready to be fully natural!

Danea – Loved the updo, it's beautiful…..and the impromptu hair accessory!
In regard to Megan, well said Annie L.!!! Megan, don't worry, in time, they'll be following you wondering how they can go natural!!
Danea!!! I was looking at your orchids and they reminded me of my DIY ones, then I saw that you followed my tutorial!! Awwww, so excited!! I'm glad that it worked well for you! Your hair looks beautiful!! And everyone looks fab!!!!
Shelli
From Miami to Jamaica to Kenya *sigh* – I guess we run the world :))))
God everyone looks amazing! And Siri, you are knocking my socks off with the deep skin, electric green dress, blue bow and those eyes! And I'm really liking everyone's blogs!
@Megan – just know that history never remembers nor is very kind to the weak-minded plebes orbiting around you. I'm glad you have the warmth of your mom and your stiff upper-lip.
@Megan Montgomery:Never get caught up in the hype of what everyone wants you to do with your life. You do what is right and healthy for you. I'm glad you have your mother as a support system and that you have learned to love your kinks. Stay strong π
I wish I had friends and friends who support me wearing my natural hair since I stop heat straightening my hair. I been talked about behind my back I heard people say her hair I nappy especially when I have bad hair days. It hurts because the only natural that is supportive of me and has been my whole life is my mother. I consider her my bestfriend because she encouraged me to rock my natural curls since she did the big chop four year ago after being relaxed. I have never been relaxed but always hated my hair texture because it was not like other girls, but I learned to love my kinky curls.
