Heading out on a Saturday night for dinner with friends. I took this pic before I left out. I did a co-wash earlier in the day with Kinky Curly’s Knot Today leave-in conditioner, sealed it with a mixture of apricot kernal/coconut oil and then used a total of 3 bobby pins and one tuck comb to achieve the updo! I was so excited b/c I’ve come such a long way since my first updo, which felt like Edward Scissor hands was massaging my scalp.
3 weeks and loving it…the best part? I styled my hair in the shower! Headed to work.

This is the result of a bantu knot out. My friend Brittany, who is a natural herself, did this and it came out beautifully. I was on my way to meet up with friends for lunch.

All of the ladies look beautiful, but I especially like naturallynewbie, her fro is cute & the convience of being able to wash n go & go straight to work, oh how I miss those days.
I love this feature to see which styles everyone else is coming up with – great hair!
Lovely ladies! I'm inspired to try a bantu knot out again.
Great hair Syreeta! I very rarely run into someone who has the exact name and spelling as mine 🙂
Beautiful hair ladies! Tiffany, I especially love your braid out. You've inspired me to try it.
