So last night was EPIC. I’m talking ‘everything possibly imaginable, cuz’ type EPIC, I mean, ‘every photo is cute’ type EPIC, or better yet, I mean ‘haters were instantly concerned’, type EPIC. No matter the anagram or witty phrase… (I plan on copyrighting them all, lol), we had a GREAT night last night (besides the foolish 4 hour drive home – me and my damn instant gratification.) NY, we always do it big!

the ‘puff bun’ created by Marie of St. Louis’ Shi Salon! She used my
products (Mizani’s Miracle Oil conditioner to co-wash and Living Proof
Full Cream and As I Am Smoothing Gel to style). She pulled it all up and created a donut bun and then we frizzed it up real good!

…Ish was so EPIC I had to rock two styles in one day. So I rushed home, co-washed again and did a wash-n-go for the 6-in-1 Miracle Oil Launch Party later that evening. I did the exact same routine and used the same products as I did in THIS POST, styled with Living Proof Thickening Cream and As I Am Smoothing Gel.

I WAS THERE,CHICAS!!!! I was positively confused by the sheer amount of beautiful flowing hair in that room ,didn't even know where to look first. Such a beautiful view. The DJ was SIIIIICK,folks,so I was sad that she hadn't brought her business cards along. Like Tracee said,it was amazing to find myself in the same room with literally hundreds of ladies with hair like mine. Shalom!

This event was amazing! I'm still amazed at how beautiful both you and Tracee Ross's hair and personalities are. It was also great to see and meet so many naturals and to get some new tips on braidouts and twistouts. This made my day!

I loved the bun Nik!! When frizz goes right in my opinion;).
Those black booties were hot Nik!! And your hair was HUGE!! I thought that it looked shorter!! Now I know you got the cut freshened up:)!! You making me want to get some more layers to pump up my volume. I didn't mess with my hair too much b/c I worked out before getting ready and some of the braids for my braid-out were damp from it!! So, I didn't want to make it completely frizz by fluffing before it dried. Then an hour in the heat … I never made it to a mirror to do some serious "volumizing!" I was jealous of all the huge hair!!! LOL!! So many beautiful and sweet ladies with amazing style and hair!!
