My hair is super curly it not fine but it is not thick so I guess. I am in between. My hair in certain sections, the crown curls up on each other I keep my hair stretched because ssk's and moisturize as need. I always detangle the crown front of my head last. I do detangle with my goody wide tooth comb for thick curly hair my fave! I need to add oils to my hair for protection and nourishment as well thanks Nikki for this I never thought to do this.
My hair is fine as well. Keeping my hair moisturized between washings is helpful because it's less prone to breakage but detangling with plenty of oil for pre-poos or with conditioner soaked hair helps quite a bit also. Patience!
My hair is fine and when I wear wng's I do have some tangles. I just wet my hair with my conditioner, oil, water mix and then use my fingers to detangle, then finish up with wide tooth comb. I have tried rollers on the ends of flat twists but it just makes them long and stringy. Doesn't really curl up for me. I actually follow most of the steps that nikki suggests.
Although I don't have fine hair, it's extremely curly & I have to keep it stretched a lot. If I do choose to do a wash n go my hair has to be loaded with lots of conditioner my hair soaks it up & it gives me a light hold like a gel.
