Hola Chicas, heading for a night out, rocking a 5 day old Blow/Twist/Braid Out, all in one…I thought I was cute..:)
Me rocking my new afro puffy twists. Love ’em!
Ready for a night out with the hubby and friends. Wearing a WNG, styled only with a *tiny* bit of gel all over and dried with a diffuser. It was different from my usual two-strand twists, but I channeled my inner Corrine and loved it!
Just showing off my bleached hairdo. Had it done the day before and I’m sooooo happy with the results. It’ll give me more of an excuse to wear my hair down more often, instead of up in a ponytail LOL!
I am a 32 year old single mom, artist and grad student. I shaved all of my hair off at the beginning of 2006 and started comb coil locs in March of that year. I added color in 2009 and as I tell people “ I’ve gone from fade to fabulous in 6 years!” I palm rolled until this year and just started having my new growth tightened by interlocking. Olive oil and water are my BFFs. I truly love my locs and the journey. The versatility is endless.
My first successful attempt st a wash and go. Used kckt leave in and Jane carter curl defining cream. I love love love the results!!!!
Hey Nikki! This is a picture of me after getting a blow-out and trim from a natural hair hairdresser. The minute I came home I was called “Angela Davis” and playfully teased with the Shaft theme song. I don’t wear blow-outs often but when I do, I LOVE it. It’s so fluffy!
Here I am rocking a fresh twist out on Graduation Day! Thanks to your post on Natural Hair Graduation Styles: Reloaded, I was able to find a way to fit my usually massive hair under my cap.
This is me rocking my newly (kinda) big chopped hair in a twist out! After almost a year and a half of transition I’m freeee, fierce, and LOVING my true 100% natural texture : )
Twist out on wet hair, day 1!
