It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them–
After wearing my hair straight for about a month, I am happy to rock my usual bantu knot out style. About to leave for a business meeting in NYC, I snapped this bathroom pic because I absolutely loved how my curls came out. With Marguerite’s Magic from Carol’s Daughter and some water, my hair thanked me 🙂

Hey Nikki girl!
I’ve been meaning to send a pic every week for the whole month of May but I kept forgetting! I love your website and I check it everyday (it’s a daily ritual, lol).
I rocked my hair straight, a curly puff, a bantu knot out, and a curlformer set. I did a lot of experimenting last month, lol! Versatility at its finest!
At work rockin’ a 3 day old flat twist out that still looks FIERCE despite the humidity.
Just got a fresh blowout to stretch my hair before a braid out. Channeling my inner Pam Grier with this fro. 🙂
I was out and about at a natural hair event in NYC and decided to blow out my hair on the lowest heat setting to rock a BOSS fro ! #1yearnatural !
I’m new to the au naturale crew. Love your site! Please see my pic for Fierce Fridays. This was taken first thing in the morning at work. I washed my hair that morning and used Eco styler gel through my hair and let’s jam on my edges. Work!
I’m at work, playing with my phone! This is a 5 day old twist and curl with a french roll on the side. I cut 2 inches (still transitioning!!), colored the front and washed the rest, then twisted the damp hair and curled the ends with sponge rollers. I used All Things O’Naturals Natty Butter, Jojoba oil and water!
I had just finshed my hair. My hair is braided to the middle, the middle section was then braided together. My bangs are two strand twisted. I am really feelin’ this style!
I was really feeling having big hair this day! This is a four day old twist out that I stretched at night by putting it into four big braids. I took the braids out in the morning and fluffed. The original twist out was done using Shea Moisture’s Deep Treatment Mask.
Grabbing lunch with friends, wearing my w&g with Suave captivating curl mousse and Kemi Oyl.
Send in your favorite picture with a caption detailing where you were (or where you were headed to), along with a brief description of your hairstyle, to firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ll post several each Friday. Be sure to use ‘Fierce Friday’ as the subject line!
I post EVERY.SINGLE.ONE in the order I receive them. We’re now up to May 2012!
We always need more!
