Thank you for having your site, it has such great information! My oldest daughter, Briana, inspired me to go natural. I’ve only been doing this for 3 weeks but I’m learning quite a bit. Hey CurlyNikki!! This was one of the BEST twist-outs I’ve ever done! A two-strand twist with flexi-rods on the ends and I pinned it up on the sides since they were a little frizzy. I used Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner, Shea Moisture’s Curl Enhancing Smoothie and EcoStyler hair gel. Thanks for inspiring me Nikki!

Relaxing before heading to an all white party rocking my frohawk. It was a 2nd day twist out, and I used Cantu Shea Butter Leave in Conditioning Repair Cream, shea butter, water, and bobby pins. Your site continues to inspire me!

Getting ready for a Saturday of thrifting! Haha, yes, I love to upcycle! I twisted my hair while wet and wore that during the week; this is day 2 of my twist out and also marks the 1 year anniversary of my BC 🙂
