It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them–
This is my first tension method blowout! I am 18 months post relaxer and just celebrated one year natural!!! Thank you for such a great site which keeps me inspired.
Getting ready for a natural hair seminar.
I was at the boardwalk in Destin, Fl. I co-washed my hair with HE Hello Hydration, styled with Cantu leave-in conditioner/JC curl defining creme. This is my W&G.
I came across your blog and I love it! I’ve been natural for about 5 years and I am a strong advocate for natural hair. I’m an actress living in New York. I find that this industry promotes a standard of beauty that is damaging to our culture both physically and psychologically. I love wearing my natural hair in the casting room! It’s like a little extra pop.
Take care and thanks for the tips!
Did a braid out with water and coconut oil and rod set the ends. Came out wonderful. I got complements all day. Even in my finance class.
Hello! This is me at work on a Friday waiting for 5pm to go bar hopping! I’m rocking my natural curls that I finger styled and blew out because it’s so tight. I love my hair!
It was a beautiful day so a photographer friend and I were just out and about taking pics. Trying to do more things to step outside of my comfort zone [the house]. We had a blast!
I was at a wedding…this is a twist n curl on blown out hair using Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. This is my go to style for big events!
This is my staple hair do…wet, apply kimmaytube’s leave-in conditioner mix, brush it back, then put on a head band 🙂
This is me headed to work with a 2 day old twist out up do with a flat twist “headband” in the front. I used Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie and Olive Oil Eco Styler Gel 🙂
