It’s that time again! The images below are of CN readers at their flyyest…at work, on the town, and with the fam. Showing us all that natural hair is not a fad, it’s a way of life…an extension of our beauty! Click on the images to enlarge them–
I was out shopping with my eleven year-old, who took this photo for me, for her graduation party. She took the pics to document what I was wearing, I completed both pieces the night before, for a weekly theme sewing blog that I participate in.
I’ve been transitioning for a long time and my go-to style WAS ceramic iron-outs. I’m on my way to work rocking my 1st twist and curl. LOVE IT!!! Freshly co-washed and twisted using Kinky Curly Styling Custard, flexi rods on the ends (still relaxed on the ends) and air dried over night. VIOLA!!! My new Go-to.
This is my %100 dry wash n’ go on my day off! I just returned from eating lunch to snap a picture with my kittens. I’m a crazy cat lady.
This is a protective style using Cork Screw weave!… Headed out on a date with a friend that thought I was SUPER SEXY AND SASSY!
Rocking the red (or reddish) for Heart Disease Awareness. I did a twist out my “when all else fails” hairstyle 🙂
I was on vacation in Savannah and I’d just realized a bug bit me. OUCH! However, I had a nice twisted up-do!
My hair style was in small twists for about 2 weeks, took them down because I was headed to an interview. Twisted with Donna Marie Super Butter Creme, moisturized with Shea Butter and sprayed with Shea Moisture Hold and Shine Moisture Mist resulted in super soft, curly, fluffy hair.
One year later my hair went from permed and bleached to all natural and curly. So proud of my growth
Just wanted to share one of my favorite updos. It’s just twists pinned up into a bun with a little added “Marley” braiding hair. I call this my “Diva Bun”! I love this style and can wear it for weeks on end as a protective style. Check out my blog at http://pamela-goingnatural.blogspot.com/
