Better, faster, stronger.
Kanye’s lyrics are the soundtrack to our hair! We all want longer, stronger, healthier hair. Despite what you’ve been told, it is possible to grow long, healthy, natural hair. So what’s the secret? Do you need herbs and spices? A special miracle oil? The juices and berries Prince Akeem used in Coming to America?

While there are no shortcuts to long hair, you can encourage growth.
Castor oil is a natural remedy for thickening hair. Rub your scalp with a small amount of Jamaican Black Castor Oil before bed. Rich in fatty acids, castor oil circulates blood to the scalp to make hair longer, stronger, and shinier. You can also use a tiny amount on your eyebrows and lashes to keep them looking luxurious.
Massage your scalp for 2-5 minutes before shampooing to increase circulation to your follicles. Use natural oils like coconut, olive, almond, or jojoba and move your fingers in a circular motion to gently massage your scalp.
A daily multivitamin can help to increase hair growth. Look for one that contains biotin, an essential nutrient for strength in hair and nails. Get 2.5 mg to improve your keratin structure, says dermatologist Dr. Richard Scher.
While you can’t speed into long hair, healthy habits will keep it growing.
