The Academy Award winner showed she just might be up for a Grammy, too.
This Saturday, Kenyan star Lupita Nyong’o spit hot fire on Instagram, instoducing fans to her alter ego, “Troublemaker.” To celebrate hitting 3 million followers, Lupita shared a black and white video of her rhyming over the beat of Nas’ 1994 “New York State of Mind.”
“Mexican born, Kenya running through my veins. Dark chocolate, plus I keep a sharp mane.”
Though she wasn’t “kickin’ musician, inflictin’ composition,” Lupita did shout out her fans and showed us all how the Queen of Katwe gets money. “Lancôme fresh-faced, looking tailor-made. Disney on the books, so you know I stay paid.”
