A new day, a new act of self-love. Today, I am particularly grateful for the divine nature of my breath. Far more than a mere biological function, my breath is a conduit to connect with my higher self and to become ONE with God. As God says in the Quran “And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul.” Verse (15:29)
Every breath is a sacred path to God, a means to connect with ourselves, and a pathway to discover our purpose. The rhythm of my breath mirrors the state of my being, and it is through my breath that I find peace and release my pent-up emotions of anger, fear, and ignorance.
My breath unites me with all things that bear God’s essence, assuring me that I am not separate from the Universe, but rather an integral part of it. I complete the Universe just like the universe completes me.
My breath is a journey that traverses every inch of my body, from the moment it enters through my nose to the depths of my lungs and the farthest reaches of my nerves.
As I breathe in, I am filled with love, truth, and purpose. With every exhale, I release fear, anger, and ego. I am finding calm in the midst of chaos, and my breath serves as a light in the darkness. May I continue to honor and appreciate the blessing of my breath, and let it serve as a reminder of the divine within me, and within all things.
