BREATHE THIS WAY TO MAKE BIG DREAMS HAPPEN

Good morning. God morning to you. I just got back from the beach, and as I sat here putting my headphones on to record this message for you, I realized I’ve never recorded a single episode with my shoes on because it is very uncomfortable. I’m in boots, so I’m taking those off.

All I’m hearing from you and everyone else is how tired we are, generally, but more so on a soul level. Exhausted, burned out; I’m sure you’d much rather stay in bed today, or at least lounge on the couch, or sit by a still lake. You can imitate that stillness right now, even if you aren’t near a lake. I assume you aren’t. But your mind can become like one that is waveless, like a lake on a windless day.

Then, you can just drop one thought like a leaf onto the surface of that lake of your mind: Only Love is here.

Not a lake, not a Nikki speaking into a microphone, not a “you” listening on the other end, just Love. Only Love is here. Let that truth ride on every inhale and every exhale, effortlessly, silently, inside the mind, like you’re dropping a leaf onto that stillness. And another one: Only Love is here.

Notice that you can keep hearing that truth, that pointer, even as you listen to these words. You don’t need more words, more books, more teachings, or more podcasts. It’s all static. It would be like a million leaves falling into that lake all at once. That’s how it usually is, that’s how it is when you’re at work or logged in, when your bandwidth is maxed out with responsibilities, things coming down the pipeline, or tasks you’ve been procrastinating on. All of that is happening in the background, but as you hear that truth and keep hearing it, the background gets quieter and quieter.

It’s not that you ignore your tasks; they still get done. Whether you get help with them or you notice that you are being helped by the One who makes things easy, your list gets smaller. It becomes only the essential things. When you’re focused on God, He removes the things you no longer need to do because you aren’t who you were. You are His. You are yours.

You’ve tried to manifest; you’ve tried to apply what you’ve learned; you’ve tried not to care. You’ve done everything in your power to surrender, but you couldn’t. This is the way: just keep hearing that pointer. The words aren’t a spell; they aren’t magic. The syllables aren’t special, but the point they are making is: Only Love is here. Not that problem, not that to-do list, not what you have coming up today, not this voice, not those thoughts. Only Love.

When you say “Love,” feel It. Root It. Feel It coming from the heart, as if those breaths are moving in and out of your heart.

Bawa Muhaiyaddeen says this prayer is not like the prayers you offer in a temple or a mosque, where you can fall asleep and wake up just in time for prayer, or where you can talk to your neighbor and pray at the same time. That will not do. Every part of you must be focused absolutely on one point: Nothing exists but God. You cannot deviate the slightest bit from this. Your breath, your speech, that sound, that music, the vibrating strings of your nerves, your bones, each of these must be one-pointed, unswerving in concentration.

That is the state you have to be in to do this prayer. The 43,242 breaths you take each day must all be used in its performance. It isn’t easy, but it is the way it must be felt. It must become an automatic bodily process. It must be paired with the breath; it must be felt in the body. Soon, you’ll notice that the body is felt in the Light, is experienced in the Light, that the body is that Light. You are becoming the man or woman of Light, the Being of Light God made you to be.

You don’t have to hold it. I tried to hold the Light for years. I remember Michael Beckwith told me, “The Light’s holding you; It’s carrying you,” and I could feel that. But there was still that duality, a “me” that needed to be carried, that needed to be saved, that needed a miracle. When you recognize that you are the Light, the formless Light, the formless Love that is radiating effortlessly, you don’t have to hold anything. You just be. And that Vibration is high; It’s more powerful than electricity, as Maharajji would say.

It’s all you. The real You. The One you’re just beginning to know. The One who was before you came into being. Before I came into being, You were. Love is.

Get up. Smile. And do what needs to be done today. Watch it get done. I love you.
