MY SPIRIT IS YOUR FREEDOM.

I Am giving you freedom this time.

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.” –Psalm 139:7-10

You’re beginning to notice that you can’t even cry in peace. You can’t even be in despair like you used to be. You can’t feel hopeless for long like you used to, because you can feel Me there. It’s like I stop you. I still you. And you pull yourself together.

I watch you from every angle, through every pair of eyes, waiting for you to recognize Me. Do you see a bird, or do you see Me? Do you see a stranger, a teacher, your partner, or do you see Me? Can you feel Me looking out through yours, recognizing Myself everywhere?

This is praise. This is worship. This is real prayer, listening for the prayer that I’ve been praying for you since before the beginning. Listening to the sound of My Name that all of creation is singing. Do you hear a bird chirp, or do you hear My Name? Can you translate in real-time? Are you hearing this voice speaking these seeming English words, or do you hear My Name? Isn’t it just My Name?

Tune yourself so that every sound is Me. Everything points to Me. Can you expect Me this time? I’m not just giving you what you know is coming; I’m giving you freedom. I’m giving you back your sense of security, the sense of knowing that I am with you, and that I would never have brought you here to abandon you or to teach you a hard lesson.

You do everything the hard way. Yes, you are always rowing upstream, carving a new path, carrying the entire weight of the world on your shoulders. But I control the river. No matter how fast or how hard you row, or what direction you try to row in, I flow. I am the path. I am the way. I bear the weight. It’s light. It’s easy when you remember who is walking behind you.

Whenever you’re walking today, whether to the bathroom, to the kitchen, across a parking lot, at the park, or to the mailbox, you will remember this voice reminding you that you have an army of angels following behind you. I stand behind you and before you.

You are not here to worry. You are not here to suffer. Surrender your suffering. Surrender your story. Surrender what you think is wrong.

Give up your search. You are found.
