So the interesting thing is I substitute teach …. and I’ve been hearing the kids say 6-7…6-7 and have been wondering what in THE WORLD they meant? I asked them and they laughed at me as if I was a not so cool teacher – which is mostly correct because I am not hip at all lol! But THIS!~. This is what the Lord has been saying to me. I’ve been in a very isolated and somewhat lonely season, but just like the seed gives way to a sprig of green in the soil, I feel a release to get back out again and explore life. One of the things I’m known for is my smile….and it lights up a room. That smile hasn’t been there in earnest…but I chose to go out this next week and light up the world and share a little sparkle with them. Thank you for this! I remember you from the natural hair journey. I am now with locs and am a life coach, too…and it is THE BEST thing ever. Appreciate you sharing your journey….
I don’t know the year I found your blog that promoted hair care, you gave a lot of information that was extremely helpful. And to see you now worshiping and building the kingdom of God and telling others about him is wonderful! Keep up the great work, proud of you!

Nikki! Love you and miss you. I am working with all the great content that I learned from you from 2020-2025. 2025 I have been focused on chanting. I cherish the Mala from Brindiban that you gifted me and use it every day to chant (Hare Krishna) as often as I can. Just yesterday I listened (for the umpteenth time!) to the Good Friends interview that you did with S.B. Keshava Swami on Sept. 29, 2023 on the Maha Mantra and his practice. It’s such a beautiful interview and I learn something new from it each time I listen to it. So many gems you have given us/me over the last five years.. Thank you for everything and hope you and your family are safe and happy and looking forward to a Happy Halloween!

Thank you for doing this. I do want to be more intentional with praying for others, stabding in faith with people who may not have enough faith to pray for themselves. I would like to find my way back to this.
