I love this! Waaay back in college when my hair was relaxed, this was one of my staple hairstyles. When it grows out long enough in its natural state I’ll definitely wear this again.

When I was a kid back in the 70’s my mom did my hair like this every damn day. After I got my first relaxer when I was 10 I never did my hair this way ever again (good thing, well in my eyes). I laugh when I see this hairstyle as the new it thing because I would cringe when my momma would do it on me. Of course you know I’m going to try this soon anyway LOL
wow, i just did this on monday, and even though i thought it was a little weird and different, i liked it, so i rocked it at the grocery store for a test run!

this is my current style staple as i’m growing my hair longer. it’s in a funky in between stage and i’m transitioning so this is perfect especially as it starts getting more humid. it’s funky and classic at the same time.
