Also, I'm thinking I should be able to get 2-3 flowers and a scarf/headband out of each. Great investment!

Just made my first one. Now I can't sew a lick but this came out beautifully. It took me 1 1/2 hours but now that I understand it I think I should be able to make one in less than an hour. I love it and I got my fabric off the remnants rack at JoAnn's and each piece was around $2 or less. Can't beat that, especially since most hair flowers I've seen cost $6-$7 bucks. Thanks for showing me how to make this! I'll post pics soon!

Thanks so much ! I just made my first one (it took me 3 hours) and I love it!!! It's truly a labor of love.

Great video!! I definitely want to try making my own accessories.

I followed the video last night and made two of these lovely flowers, they came out so well. I mixed and matched different colors on the second one. It's time consuming but the results are so worth it. I'm even thinking of different ideas like sewing in a twisty so that the flower can be worn as a ponytail holder. Thank you for sharing with all of us, you are beautiful and creative.

Thank you so much for this video. I was out looking for flowers for my hair and I was having such a hard time because either the colors weren't right or the flowers weren't the correct size for my face. I am definitely going to buy the fabric and try this

  • J. says:

I am glad you posted this cause I don't want to spend almost $10 for those huge hair flowers. Thanks niki

  • Aishah says:

Great video!!! I went looking for hair accessories the other day and I wasn't able to find anything big enough, but these will be perfect! And they would probably look good as a brooch or pin too. So versatile. THANKS!!!

LOVE it!!!! I will be making some tonight! i have plenty of fabric scraps this is perfect for me to make some for me and my daughter.

I adore this!!!! Brilliant! You inspired me to go out and make one today! And if it works out, I will make several for my other natural familia.

Your video also gave me ideas….smaller little rosette flowers on hair pins, perhaps? It would be perfect for side styles or occasions where smaller flowers would work better. It might be more of a challenge to sew though! lol

Thanks again for sharing your creativity! 🙂
