I twisted/rolled the sides of my hair back, pinned it down, and then pulled my headband over my head and towards the back, to make a low puff, like in the video below, then pinned my ends underneath the band to create a bun.

So simple but so chic! Love it!
It doesn't look done.
i am so hair styling challenged but this is cute cute and gives me hope that i can pull it off. thanxs bunches đ
Cute, I may try it even though my hair isn't as straight as yours, it's worth a try.
How long did it take for your hair to get this long ?
love, love, LOVE this lil style!
I like sideburns
I am going to have to try this. I'm currently wearing a twist out and this would be a nice change up. I like your choice of music for the video.
The style in the pics look similar to my go to style. It's great because it works on any hair texture, including straight and transitioning hair. Will have to try the one in the video….
This is really cute style. Was your hair stretched from braids or twists or something?
the style is really cute and easy to replicate. love it.
I love Jamila's blog, "College Curlies". This is so cute! I tried to do this today before work and my sides aren't as tight as hers. Am I the only natural who is hairpin challenged? I can cornrow and fishtail braid, but I can never get my bobby pin/hairpin placement right. Anyone interested in doing a tutorial on that? I'm also tuck and roll challenged if anyone is looking for a tutorial challenge. đ
nice! you're gorgeous and… great music! đ
Very cute!
Thanks so much for this. I am beyond style challenged, and have been looking for another 'do. This is easy and cute.

Cute! I might try this for work tomorrow.
This is one of my staples! Works GREAT for transitioning curlies, too =)
