Daily Devotional Rosary October 16, 2026:The Sorrowful Mysteries- YOU HAVEN’T EVEN SEEN WHAT’S IN STORE FOR YOU.
Good morning. God morning to you.
I am only here to remind you that where you are is holy ground. Where you stand or kneel or sit or lay your head is holy ground. It’s His ground.
The saints say that if the ground became holy because God stood on it, imagine the womb that carried Him.
That’s why we pray. And that’s why we pray ceaselessly, because the onslaught is ceaseless. The temptations are ceaseless. The devil doesn’t sleep. Your mind doesn’t rest until it finds Him. St. Augustine said that our hearts do not rest until they rest in Him.
How safe would you feel right now if you knew that where you are is His lap? It just looks like a chair. It’s her lap. It just looks like a floor, a bed, a car seat. Wherever you are, you are in God’s arms. As a saint. And yes, I’m calling you a saint.
You’re not even born yet. I don’t remember which saint said it, but we’re still in the womb. We’re still in Mary. You haven’t even begun. You haven’t even started. You haven’t even seen the blessings that are in store for you, or the people who are going to help you bring about the vision He has given you. The one you can’t figure out how to make happen.
I pray that He sends you supernatural, instantaneous solutions. And yet, I simply pray for His will to be done in your life, which is a much scarier prayer for those of us who are strong-willed and like to control things.
Your will, Father.
Jesus had to pray that prayer in the garden.
We’re praying the Sorrowful Mysteries today. We’re focusing on the Passion. Remember I told you that’s the most powerful meditation? Let us pray.
The Sorrowful Mysteries
How to Pray With Us
For each of the five Sorrowful Mysteries, pray one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be, and one Fatima Prayer. The words are written out under the First Mystery. Use those same prayers for the remaining four decades.
The Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Come into His Presence. Acknowledge the Presence of God where you are, the holy ground where you are, the solid rock where you are, and pray from that place. Pray from that Love.
Let Love pray. Let the fire burn. That burning bush, that’s what you are. That’s what’s there. That’s what’s praying.
The First Sorrowful Mystery: The Agony in the Garden
Our Father
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary – Pray 10 Times
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Fatima Prayer
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy. Amen.
The Second Sorrowful Mystery: The Scourging at the Pillar
Love enduring suffering without ceasing to love.
Pray one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be, and one Fatima Prayer.
The Third Sorrowful Mystery: The Crowning With Thorns
I remember praying with a beautiful soul named Christina, and she said that when she prays a set of Mysteries, she’s placing a crown of roses on Jesus’s head instead of the thorns.
See that image. See yourself approaching Him with the roses, your Rosary, with these prayers from your heart, not just your lips.
Pray one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be, and one Fatima Prayer.
The Fourth Sorrowful Mystery: The Carrying of the Cross
He carried the Cross so you could put yours down. You could put that tension down.
Right now, notice where you’re holding it. Your thighs, your stomach, your shoulders, your jaw. Maybe you didn’t recognize it until just this moment. That’s you laying down your cross, your sword. He carried it for you. He’s carrying it for you.
Look at Him. Make eye contact.
And notice I didn’t tell you to relax. As soon as you notice the tension, it leaves.
Pray one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be, and one Fatima Prayer.
The Fifth Sorrowful Mystery: The Crucifixion of Jesus
I get lots of messages asking what I see, how I see, what He says to me. And I only hear, I thirst. I don’t see His mouth move. I just feel that in my heart. And as soon as I hear it in my heart, I become water. I become wine. I become Love. I become Him.
Whatever suffering you may be enduring, whatever pains or issues are there, connect them to His suffering. Connect with His Heart. Connect with His eyes. Lock eyes.
And become a full sponge, a totally saturated sponge, to quench His thirst.
Hear Him saying, Quench Me.
Pray one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be, and one Fatima Prayer.
Salve Regina (Hail, Holy Queen) in Latin
Salve, Regina, Mater misericordiae,
vita, dulcedo et spes nostra, salve.
Ad te clamamus, exsules filii Hevae.
Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes
in hac lacrimarum valle.
Eia ergo, advocata nostra,
illos tuos misericordes oculos
ad nos converte.
Et Iesum, benedictum fructum ventris tui,
nobis post hoc exsilium ostende.
O clemens, O pia, O dulcis Virgo Maria.
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Closing
As Maharaji would say, you were afraid because you forgot who you have standing behind you, standing beside you, standing in your shoes, sitting in that seat, praying these prayers.
The rest of that was me. But you do. You often forget, and you fret.
But not today. Not today.
The Mother of God is with you, is for you, has interceded for you and for the whole world.
