i wore dreds for six yrs,cut them off, wore an afro, used a color, twist and now starting my dreds again. this time the stylist is using a mixture of herbs on my hair. it makes my scalp feel great and hair stronger. i am so glad that the usage of herbs are being use for our bodies.
In a pinch- which happens waaaay too often now that I am a full-time mom, I can run out to walgreens, cvs, or target ( since I'm usually already there) and grab loreals everpure sulfate-free shampoo. It's great for dry hair (rosemary and juniper extracts), and only contains amodimethicone/ dimethicone polymer, which I can live with IF I must.
