Jordan Peele’s “Get Out” has officially become the most profitable film of 2017. The film, released on February 24, 2017 is making record-breaking numbers.
To date, Get Out has made $252 million globally and $175 million domestically. With a budget of only $4.5 million, this officially makes it the most profitable film of 2017. This figure also puts the films return-on-investment at 630 percent.
The highest grossing film of this year was Disney’s Beauty & The Beast remake, which grossed over $1.2 billion worldwide, but cost $160 million to make. Although extremely impressive numbers, the film’s ROI reaches well over 400 percent, but doesn’t compare to Get Out’s 630 percent.
